Main components of the production line
A complete potato chip production line typically consists of five modules:
-Pretreatment System: After screening and stone removal, the corn feed is fed into a grinder, where it is crushed to a fineness of 80-120 mesh and then mixed with the auxiliary ingredients in a mixing tank.
-Twin-screw extruder: Utilizing variable-speed control, the barrel temperature can be precisely controlled. The die aperture determines the product thickness.
-Cutting and Shaping Unit: Rotating blades cut the extruded continuous strips into standard lengths, while a simultaneous oil spraying system provides surface seasoning.
-Drying and Cooling Line: A multi-layer mesh belt oven uses 60-80°C hot air to remove excess moisture, while a cooling tunnel sets the product shape.
-Packaging Unit: Automatic weighing and filling, combined with nitrogen-filled packaging, extend the shelf life to over 6 months.
Raw material mixer
The mixer is used to mix the powdered raw materials and liquid seasonings evenly. The moisture and starch content of the raw materials will directly affect the degree of puffing. Therefore, when selecting raw materials, it is best to choose raw materials with moderate moisture and starch content.
Snack Puffing Machine
Corn puffing machine is the most important machine in the production of puffed food. In the corn puffing cereal machine, the raw material is steamed and shaped at high temperature. Seasoning Machine
