For a biomass pellet making line, your feedstock can be a variety of wood materials, with one, two, or more materials of varying sizes and moisture levels. Your feedstock can also be a combination of wood waste and agricultural waste, also with varying sizes and moisture levels. The crushing and drying systems will need to be determined based on the actual feedstock availability.
1. Crushing System
We combine various crushing systems, including shredding, slicing, crushing, wood peeling, wood splitting, and pallet crushing, depending on the size and impurities of the raw materials. These systems produce 3mm sawdust that meets the feed specifications of the wood pellet machine.
2. Cleaning System
Most raw materials contain impurities such as dirt and nails. The cleaning stage can be located before or after crushing, depending on the specific raw material. Wood pellet production lines using multiple raw materials sometimes require multiple cleaning stages.
3. Proportioning and Mixing
When customers use different types of raw materials, or use raw materials of the same type but with different physical properties, this stage may be required to ensure pellet quality. Of course, a very small number of customers also use adhesives. This requires a batching and mixing system to ensure material uniformity.
4. Drying System
Prior to pelletizing, the raw materials must be dried. Depending on the raw material used, the moisture content should be between 13% and 15%. To ensure a smooth pelletizing process, the raw materials must have an appropriate moisture content. Drying the raw materials to the appropriate moisture content is crucial for producing high-quality pellets.

5. Pelletizing System
The finished pellets have a diameter of 2-12mm. The transmission system utilizes high-quality imported bearings, and several innovative designs have been incorporated into the ring die to enhance die hardness, prevent cracking, and further enhance production capacity and lifespan.
6. Cooling System
Pelletizing, cooling, weighing, and packaging. The temperature of the cooled pellets is generally no higher than 5°C above room temperature, and the moisture content is less than 10%, making them easy to store.
7. Screening System
After pelletizing, in addition to qualified wood pellets, some unqualified pellets and dust are also produced. Screening equipment is used to separate the qualified pellets from the unqualified ones. Qualified wood pellets go directly to the packaging section, while unqualified pellets require re-pelletizing.
8. Packaging System
MIKIM can adjust its packaging equipment to meet customer requirements for finished product packaging. Bulk storage or storage in steel silos is also possible.
