Model 1: Small fish feed pellet making machine (capacity ≤ 50kg/h), easy-to-open lid operation.
This small fish feed pellet making machine is compact and simple in structure. The lid is primarily a snap-on type, requiring no complicated tools. A single person can easily open the lid, making it suitable for small-scale aquaculture farms and laboratories. 1. Cover Features: There are mainly two types of covers: the feed inlet cover and the die head cover. The feed inlet cover is a small snap-on type, relatively small in size (15-20cm in diameter). The die head cover is simply bolted (2-3 bolts), with a compact structure and easy disassembly.
2. Opening Procedure: First, stop the machine, disconnect the power, and allow it to cool down. Clean any residue from the cover surface. Feed Inlet Cover: Directly press the snap to unlock, then gently lift to remove. If the snap is stuck, gently pry it open with a small pry bar. Die Head Cover: Use a small wrench to unscrew 2-3 fixing bolts, gently support the cover, and pry off the edge to remove it.
3. Adaptation Tips: The covers for small models are lightweight and do not require auxiliary tools when removing. Protect the sealing gasket to prevent it from falling off. After unscrewing the bolts, place them gently to avoid loss. Use a small Allen wrench or open-end wrench (6-8mm).
Model 2: Small electric fish feed extruder machine (capacity 50-500kg/h), standard cover opening operation.
Medium-sized fish feed extruders are currently the most widely used model in the aquaculture industry. The cover is fixed using a combination of snap-fit and bolts, making it suitable for medium-sized aquaculture bases and small feed mills. Opening the cover requires 1-2 people. First, cover features: the feed inlet cover is snap-fit (3-4 snaps), while the barrel cover and die head cover are bolted (4-6 bolts). The cover size is moderate (20-30cm in diameter), and the weight is relatively light (5-10kg). Some barrel covers have auxiliary handles for easy disassembly. Second, opening steps: After stopping the machine, disconnecting the power, and allowing it to cool down, first remove the feed inlet cover (press the snaps to unlock, then lift upwards); then remove the barrel cover: use a wrench to unscrew all the fixing bolts counterclockwise. Two people are needed, one holding the cover while the other gently prys the edges to separate it and slowly remove it; finally, remove the die head cover: unscrew the die head cover fixing bolts, unlock the edge snaps, gently pry it apart from the die head, and remove it. Third, compatibility tips: floating fish meal processing. The machine has many bolts; when unscrewing, tighten them diagonally to avoid uneven stress on the cover, which could cause deformation. When removing the barrel cover, hold it firmly to prevent it from falling and damaging the equipment. Use a medium-sized open-end wrench or socket wrench (8-12mm).
Model 3: Large floating fish food manufacturing extruder machine (capacity ≥ 500kg/h), professionally designed for lid opening.
Large fish feed extruders are bulky and complex in structure, with large and heavy covers. They are secured with multiple bolts, and some models have hydraulic assistance. Lid opening requires 2-3 people and is suitable for large-scale feed mills. First, the characteristics of the covers: the feed inlet cover is a large snap-on type (4-6 snaps), and the barrel cover and die head cover are fixed with high-strength bolts (6-10 bolts). The covers are relatively large in size (30-50cm in diameter) and heavy in weight (10-20kg). Some barrel covers are equipped with hydraulic lifting devices, eliminating the need for manual lifting. Second, the opening procedure: after stopping the machine, disconnecting the power, and allowing it to cool down, first turn off the floating fish food pellet manufacturing... If the machine has a hydraulic system (if applicable), unlock the feed inlet cover latch and lift it off; then remove the barrel cover: use an electric wrench (to improve efficiency) to unscrew all the fixing bolts diagonally, start the hydraulic lifting device, and slowly lift the barrel cover, or have 2-3 people work together to hold the cover steady, gently pry the edge, separate it, and slowly move it to the designated position; finally, remove the die head cover: unscrew the high-strength bolts of the die head cover, use a special pry bar to pry the edge, separate it from the die head, and remove it with the help of the hydraulic device or manually; thirdly, adaptation techniques: large machine models have heavy covers, and single-person operation is strictly prohibited to avoid personal injury or equipment damage; the electric wrench must be selected with a socket that is compatible with the bolt size to avoid slippage and damage to the bolts; the hydraulic device must be checked before use to ensure normal operation; after disassembly, the cover must be placed on a special support to avoid compression and deformation.
