Using crop straw as raw material, it undergoes multiple processing steps and is finally made into biomass pellets. Straw pellets are highly volatile, flammable, and low in ash, which saves fuel and reduces usage costs, thus having good economic and social benefits. They can be widely used in biomass power plants, biomass steam boilers, household fireplaces, drying furnaces, and biomass gasification furnaces, etc., and are an efficient, clean, and renewable energy source.

The crop straw is first pulverized to 3-5cm in size by a rotary cutter, then pulverized by a hammer mill into fine grass clippings approximately 3-4mm in size. The material, which has a moisture content of 40%, is then dried in a three-layer drum dryer to approximately 15%. Finally, it is pelletized, with the finished pellets available in diameters of 6-10mm. After cooling, the pellets are packaged in small bags of 20-50kg each for easy transportation and sale.
The straw rotary cutter is a pre-processing device for crop straw, crushing long straw and stalks into 3-5cm pieces. The hammer mill then grinds the sawdust into a fine powder of approximately 3-4mm.
The three-layer drum dryer achieves a moisture content of approximately 13-18% after drying.
The biomass pellets are available in diameters of 6-10mm. The vertical ring die pelletizer uses a direct feed into the press chamber, facilitating easier entry of the material into the press chamber. This is particularly suitable for pelletizing straw-based materials.
The cooling and packaging section is used to reduce pellet temperature and moisture. The pellet temperature after cooling is generally no higher than 5°C above room temperature, and the moisture content is approximately 8-10%.

This solution can be optimized to meet different customer needs:
1. If needed, buffer silos can be added between each process section. This improves production line automation and reduces dust pollution in the workshop.
2. If the raw material moisture content is no higher than 15%, a dryer can be omitted and pelletizing can proceed directly after crushing. If the moisture content is higher than 15% but lower than 20%, mixing the dry and wet materials to neutralize and reduce the moisture content before pelletizing can be considered.
3. Packaging equipment can be adjusted based on customer packaging requirements.
