Step 1: Preliminary Preparations, including Safety Measures and Pre-treatment of the Automatic Fish Feed Making Machine.
Safety is paramount when operating the machine with the lid open; therefore, proper safety precautions and equipment pre-treatment are essential to avoid potential hazards. First, safety preparation: Operators must wear high-temperature resistant gloves, protective masks, and non-slip shoes. Loose clothing and jewelry are strictly prohibited to avoid burns from the high-temperature equipment or clothing getting caught in the equipment. Second, tool preparation: Prepare appropriate tools. Basic tools include small wrenches, screwdrivers, and clip-on pry bars (dedicated). No complex professional tools are needed. Ensure tools are intact and undamaged to avoid damaging the equipment when using excessive force to open the lid. Third, fish food maker machine pre-treatment: First, turn off the main power to the fish feed extruder, unplug the power cord, hang a "Opening Lid, Do Not Start" warning sign, and assign someone to monitor the machine to prevent accidental startup. Wait for the equipment to cool completely. During operation, the barrel and lid temperature can reach 120-160℃; it must be cooled to below 50℃ (warm to the touch, not hot) before opening the lid. Simultaneously, clean any material residue and dust from the lid surface to prevent material from falling and injuring people when opening the lid.
Second step: Precise positioning, distinguishing the fixing methods of different types of lids.
The covers of fish meal processing machines are mainly divided into three categories (feed inlet cover, barrel cover, and die head cover). Different covers have different fixing methods, requiring precise identification to avoid blind operation. First, the feed inlet cover: mostly snap-on or screw-on, is the easiest to remove. Snap-on covers have 2-4 snaps on the surface; gently press the snaps to unlock. Screw-on covers need to be rotated clockwise to loosen and remove. Some feed inlet covers have handles; you can directly hold the handle to rotate. Second, the barrel cover: mainly used for cleaning the inside of the fish meal making machine barrel and inspecting the screws. It is mostly bolt-fixed, with 4-6 fixing bolts on the edge of the cover; you need to use a wrench to unscrew the bolts to remove it. Third, the die head cover: located at the discharge end of the extruder, used to fix the die head. It is mostly double-fixed with bolts and snaps; you need to unscrew the fixing bolts first, then unlock the snaps to remove the cover. The die head cover is tightly connected to the die head; you need to pry it gently to avoid damaging the die head.
The third step: Operate according to the procedure, removing the covers step by step to avoid damaging the components.
Depending on the type of lid, follow the principle of "unlock first, then loosen, then remove" to standardize the step-by-step operation, ensuring smooth opening of the lid without damaging the parts of the floating fish food pellet manufacturing machine. 1. Clip-on covers (mainly for feed inlets): Hold the cover handle and gently press each clip with your fingers. After hearing a "click" sound, gently lift the cover upwards to remove it. If the clips are stuck, use a clip pry bar to gently pry the edges of the clips. Do not use excessive force to avoid breaking the clips. 2. Screw-on covers (some feed inlet covers): Hold the cover handle and slowly rotate clockwise until the cover is completely loose. Then gently lift it upwards. Avoid using excessive force when rotating to prevent the cover from falling and injuring equipment or personnel. 3. Bolt-fixed covers (barrel covers, die head covers): Use a wrench to align with the fixing bolts and slowly unscrew all the bolts counterclockwise. Arrange the bolts neatly (to avoid losing them). Then gently hold the cover with your hand and gently pry the edges to separate the cover from the main body of the floating fish feed extruder machine. Finally, slowly remove the cover. When removing the cover, be careful to protect the sealing gasket on the inside of the cover to prevent it from falling off or being damaged.
