Leaves are primarily composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. These components give leaves a certain toughness and stickiness, allowing them to be compressed into pellets after appropriate processing. For example, cellulose, a polysaccharide, provides structural support and, during compression, allows for interweaving, facilitating pellet formation.
Leaf pellets can be used as biomass fuel. During combustion, they release heat. Because they are compressed, their energy density is relatively high, resulting in higher combustion efficiency and lower levels of pollutants such as soot compared to burning leaves directly. For example, in some biomass boilers, leaf pellets can partially replace traditional coal for heating or power generation.

Main Equipment Processing:
The raw materials are first conveyed by a conveyor to a screening machine for preliminary screening. Next, a standard dryer dries the raw materials to remove moisture (this step can be omitted if the raw materials have an appropriate moisture content). The dried raw materials are conveyed by an elevator to a scraper conveyor and then to a pelletizing bin. The pelletizer then forms pellets, which are then discharged via a pellet delivery conveyor (skirt belt conveyor). Finally, the pellets are cooled in a cooler before being packaged.
Auxiliary Equipment:
The production process requires an electronic control system, along with a main unit cooling system and a cooler air grid to ensure stable operation. Furthermore, to ensure product quality, an iron removal system is installed to remove impurities from the raw materials.
