The twin-screw extrusion corn flakes production line is an efficient and flexible modern cereal food production system. Its core is to use twin-screw extrusion technology to treat corn raw materials at high temperature and high pressure to achieve starch gelatinization, texture reconstruction and molding, and then make crispy corn flakes through subsequent baking, seasoning and other processes.
Applicable Raw Materials
Corn flake production lines can accommodate a wide range of raw materials, including corn flour, rice flour, oat flour, and beans. Some lines can also use sorghum flour and even a combination of multiple raw materials.
Common Process Flow
The process flow for different production lines is generally similar, generally following the steps: raw material preparation → mixing → extrusion → conveying → tableting → drying → packaging.
Model | Power | Capacity | Heater | Dimension(mm) | Weight |
LXT-65 | 5.5kw | 50 kg/h | 1 kw | 1720*870*1050 | 350 kg |
LXT-70 | 15kw | 150kg/h | 1 kw | 1720*970*1250 | 500 kg |
LXT-85 | 18.5kw | 200-300kg/h | 2 kw | 1360*1870*850 | 650 kg |
LXT-95 | 22kw | 400-500kg/h | 2 kw | 2300*1170*1400 | 850 kg |
The specific steps are as follows:
1. Mixing: Add nutritional additives and a certain proportion of water to corn flour or corn grits and mix thoroughly using a powder blender.
2. Feeding: Use a feeder to transfer the mixed ingredients to the hopper of the extruder.
Extrusion: The ingredients in the hopper enter the extruder system and are formed into small spherical pellets by the extruder.
3. Dispersion: Use a vibrating screen to disperse the pellets to prevent them from overlapping and being pressed together after entering the tablet press.
4. Conveying and Tableting: Use an air conveyor to convey the pellets to the tablet press, which presses the small spherical pellets into thin flakes, which are corn flakes.
5. Secondary Conveying and Drying: An air conveyor transports the corn flakes to a drying oven. These multi-layer ovens are typically electric ovens, with a temperature control cabinet that adjusts between 0 and 200 degrees Celsius. The ovens are lined with double-layer stainless steel mesh bags, which can be adjusted to the vehicle speed to remove moisture.
6. Packaging: After drying and cooling, the corn flakes are packaged and released for sale.
Applications
Primarily suitable for snack food factories, this equipment can produce various corn flake products, including instant corn flakes and steamed corn flakes, as well as rice flakes, oatmeal, and other similar products.
Features
High degree of automation: Automated control of the entire process, including raw material ratios, puffing parameters, and sheeting speed, improves production capacity and consistency.
Wide adaptability: Compatible with a variety of grains, including corn, wheat, and oats, to meet diverse taste requirements.
Product diversity: Available in flake, ball, and star shapes, suitable for both ready-to-drink and brewed beverages.
