Dry Puppy Food: Low Temperature and Low Speed to Meet Digestive Needs
Puppies have delicate digestive systems, so dry puppy food needs to be crisp, easily digestible, and nutrient-dense. The parameters for the dry fish feed production equipment are adjusted to: temperature 110-130℃, pressure 3-4MPa, and speed 250-280r/min. Low temperature reduces the loss of heat-sensitive nutrients (vitamins, amino acids), while low speed extends the raw material's residence time (20-22 seconds), ensuring the material is fully cooked without burning. The proportion of meat meal in the raw materials is increased to 25%-30%, and the proportion of starch is reduced to 40%. The food is ground to a fine, crisp texture after puffing, with a particle size controlled at 1-2mm, suitable for puppies' eating and digestive abilities.
Adult Dog Food: Precise Parameters to Balance Palatability and Hardness
Adult dog food needs to balance crispness, chewability, and nutritional balance. The parameters for the dry type fish feed making machine are adjusted to: temperature 130-150℃, pressure 4-5MPa, and speed 300-350r/min. At these parameters, the starch gelatinization degree reaches over 75%, the granules have moderate porosity, a crisp texture, and are not easily broken apart. Corn flour accounts for 45%-50% of the raw materials, providing ample support for puffing, and the oil content is 3%-5% (post-oil spraying process) to prevent oxidation and deterioration at the high temperature of the puffing machine. For large adult dogs, the puffing machine die diameter can be increased, and the pressure increased to 5MPa to enhance granule hardness and meet chewing and teething needs.
Low-fat dry dog food: High temperature and high speed optimize granule characteristics
Low-fat dry dog food requires controlled oil content (≤2%) to prevent granules from breaking apart due to insufficient oil. The parameters of the Dry Type floating fish feed pellet making machine are adjusted as follows: temperature 140-160℃, pressure 4.5-5.5MPa, and speed 330-380r/min. High temperature and high speed can enhance the ripeness and compactness of materials, making up for the loose structure caused by insufficient oil; the starch content in the raw materials is increased to 50%, and 1% binder is added, which stabilizes the particle structure after puffing. After drying, the moisture content is controlled at 10%-11%, which improves the storage resistance, while ensuring palatability and digestibility.
