What are the precautions for making biomass pellet fuel from mushroom sticks?
1. Compared to sawdust and wood chips, the raw materials for mushroom sticks are more complex. How can we better shape them?
2. How can we collect the plastic film covering the mushroom sticks?
What's the calorific value of pellet fuel made from mushroom sticks? It's around 3200. While not incredibly high, the original cost is lower than sawdust, and because it's rich in fiber, the yield is also higher. Overall, the results are quite positive. In many places, mushroom sticks are simply discarded, but reusing them can generate revenue.

1. Pretreatment of Main and Auxiliary Materials
Main Material Pretreatment: Discarded mushroom sticks from edible mushroom cultivation are collected at a crushing site. The outer plastic bags are manually removed, and the waste residue is removed. The product is then crushed in a crusher to a diameter of less than 3 mm.
Auxiliary materials can be selected based on the specific situation. These include straw powder (corn straw, wheat straw, bean straw, cotton straw), tree branches, grass powder, sawdust, cottonseed hulls, nut shell powder, peanut shells, coconut shells, coal powder, and coke powder. Mix them evenly.
2. Mixing Process: The pretreated main and auxiliary materials are mixed in a blender at a ratio of 7:3. Mix thoroughly, spraying with clean water during mixing to pre-wet the mixture.

3. Drying and Packaging: The wet material is dried to a moisture content of less than 8%. The finished product is then packaged uniformly. The product has a calorific value of 7000 kcal and is smokeless, odorless, and tasteless when burned, meeting relevant industry standards.
